  • The Archangels:

The feast honors St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael, each with distinct biblical roles.

    • St. Michael: (meaning "Who is Like God?") is known as the commander of the heavenly host, a protector against evil, and a champion of God's people.

    • St. Gabriel: (meaning "God is my strength") is recognized as God's messenger, famously announcing the Incarnation to Mary.

    • St. Raphael: (meaning "God has healed") is known from the Book of Tobit for his role in healing and his constant presence with God.
